Updated League Structure

Updated Structure

After the first four weeks of play, we noticed some large score discrepancies between teams at certain levels and hope to even out competition levels with a new form of "tiering" for the remainder of the 2025 season. The following two "divisions" have been formed:

  • Division 1: University Ringette, Selects, Alumni, Twisters, and Crew.
  • Division 2: Adrenaline, Rage, Park, Edmonton Ice, Hornets, Hot Flashes, and Heat.

Tiering and divisions have been placed in quotation marks, as seen above, since some crossover games will occur to accommodate teams who still wished to have a larger variety of opponents. As a result, our RAMP Interactive website will not be splitting teams up into strict division tabs.

Also, since there are an uneven amount of teams in each division, most teams will have the following:

  • One week where they play twice, and
  • One week where they do not play at all (i.e., a "bye week").

We apologize to teams that would have preferred to play only once a week. However, all teams will still play at least 13 games, and adjusting the number of weekly games was the only way to make the new divisions work—a change that the majority of Spring Ring teams supported or didn't oppose.

Thank you all for your understanding; we look forward to a fun and competitive remainder of the 2025 season!
